Amazing shots António, I wish I could see one of those sometime! Quite amazing birds; they look like zebras, and a lion with their crest! Great series!

Thanks Ashish and Marta for the kind comment you make to the hoopoe spotting,i have here a situation, for one side i have the suggestion of my friend Ashish, for the other side Marta's suggestion of mantain the spotting photo sequence,i think i'll make like Saloman, divided the sentence according to the two, tomorrow i'll make the respective changes
@thanks Karen(cats are all ways ready to a chase:) and Satyen for your nice words

I guess this is a bit of personal choice because for me the first looks nicer than the second. But overall all of them are really pretty. I wish I could find a hoopoe that close to make pictures..Good job, Antonio! :-)

Lovely spotting Antonio. I remember, Atul had waited for a long time to get a shot of this bird with the crest open.

Great spot Antonio!
My two cats have been spending all day watching the mockingbirds that are nesting 6 feet away from the window to our office & the birds have been getting very agitated & flying at the window trying to see them off!
