Physconia distorta
Folioise lichen with palmate lobes, green when wet and brown-grey when dry. The lobe ends are covered by a powdery white dust (white pruinose). Often with small lobules in centre of thallus. Under-surface is whitish at the tips and black in centre with black 'bottle-brush rhizines. It has pseudocyphellae, while isidia and soralia are absent. The apothecia are frequent, brown with coarse pruina and with a thick, sometimes lobate, margin. Pycnidia are frequent.
