Okay, that explains it. This is a Rosy-billed Pochard hen (Netta peposaca). You should add in the notes that your spotting is of a captive animal.
It's at the Jacksonville Zoo. She was sitting on eggs. No other pics.
Any other photos? The only wild species I can think of are out of range for Florida during this time of the year.
