Slightly bigger than Oriental Turtle Dove, Green color pink foot and there is a red spot on the bill. Wings are dark green.

I too think it is a Thick-billed green pigeon.. Beak looks like a young pigeon's..

Chief, that red colour at the base of bill is distinctive for Thick billed green pigeon...as far as I can make out from photos in Grimmett's book.

Could this be a young one?

I saw the blue line around the eyes...and the red colour at the base of the bill. Plus the underside is exactly like the yellow footed green pigeons that I used to see in Delhi. Never mind...we will get the correct ID sooner or later.

Chief, I think this may be....may be....just may be... a female Thick-billed Green Pigeon. (Treron curvirostra nipalensis)
