This cute little squirrel is quite small compared to the grey squirrels in our area. That being said, it is not afraid to pick a fight and even chase a grey squirrel in order to have the right to food. Hyper Active is a word that comes to mind when you think about these squirrels , they tend to do many things at warp speed. My grandkids love to watch their antics............

Thanks Cornel, my grandson finds these hyper active little squirrels exciting to watch as they will often taken on and chase away a grey squirrel which is several times its body mass. I get a kick out of them too.
How cute!
Thank you Tapasmanna2009
very beautifull............
LOL, I am thrilled you have such strong feelings for this cute little squirrel. I would love to be there when you attempted such a feat, I suspect it would have you running to and fro, they are very hyper active little things.

Wow how clear these photos. Beautiful!!!!
Yes Jeanette, I have noticed the same thing, the most striking difference to me is in the area of the ears of the two squirrels. Thanks for sharing.
Cute little guy :)
It looks quite different from my Eurasian ones...
Adorable!
My grand kids, and I love to see these little guys chase away the many grey squirrels that we see in our yard. One of these little guys can easily chase off three greys.
