This tree was roughly 20 feet tall, though some of these trees can grow up to 80 feet tall. It has large, three pointed light green leaves. It bears nuts in certain times of the year.
This tree was found outside of a building in Kamehameha Schools Kapālama Campus. These trees grow in valleys and mountains, common in humid, wet areas. They are common in Hawaiʻi
This tree is the state tree of Hawaiʻi and also represents the island of Molokaʻi.
