Limenitis archippus
found in my flower garden
Thanks Keith for clarification. Wings Black borders also find different in Monarch and Viceroy butterflies. Monarch butterflies containing some toxic compounds naturally so if any prey on it get fainted after eating them. So most of predatory birds and Arthropods, Reptiles do not feed on Monarch so Viceroy like butterfly had natural mimic form in wing colours to get protection (actually neglect) from such predators.
Ashish is correct. The black line on the hindwing that bisects the orange cells distinguishes this as a Viceroy - Limenitis archippus. Great image, though.
