Red-tailed Green Ratsnake

Gonyosoma oxycephalum

One of the staff surprised this snake inside the hotel. He managed to get it outside with a long stick. The snake killed a mouse by constriction, but had to let it go. Usually they are seen climbing trees. The tail is usually brownish. It also has a dark line horizontally across the eye. The female can reach a length of up to 2.4 m.

In the corridor of a cold spring resort hotel.
