There are weevils with similar appearance (not the same species) in many colors, there are certainly blue ones.
I wish I knew! I didn't see any blue ones when I was searching for this one's name, but maybe there's a variation I don't know about. They are an attractive bug.
Can these be blue, I think I have seen one before!
