Your spotting has been nominated for the Spotting of the Week. The winner will be chosen by the Project Noah Rangers based on a combination of factors including: uniqueness of the shot, status of the organism (for example, rare or endangered), quality of the information provided in the habitat and description sections. There is a subjective element, of course; the spotting with the highest number of Ranger votes is chosen. Congratulations on being nominated!

I picked it off a wicki page, I think. And now that you mention it, I remember that latin name. I was joking about hypochondriaca as I posted. Thank you!

Where did you get your scientific name from? P. hypochondriaca is the baja california tree frog. P. regilla is the northern pacific tree frog, which you have here.

He was popping in and out of the seam in the dock. At times he seemed to be playing with us and at others annoyed we hadn't left. He was big for our tree frogs, I suspect using the dock as a safe haven has kept him alive and kicking

In some of the pictures it looks like it's stuck.
