Domestic mallard

Anas platyrhichos

Description:

Is it possible for ducks and geese to mate? This bird was significantly bigger than a duck, but not quite as large as a goose. The coloration also seems like it's some sort of a cross between a mallard and a Canada goose.

Thanks for the info! I had no idea that domestic mallards were so much bigger.

It's a domestic variety of Mallard. They're much bigger than wildtype Mallards and there are various breeds with different coloration. This one looks to have mostly Swedish Mallard genes.
