Description:

A 10mm dorso-ventrally flattened black larva with spikey segmented body. The first and fourth abdominal segments have yellow markings on the dorsal side and most segments have white markings on the lateral extensions. Judging by its size and shape, this might by the third instar.

Habitat:

Acacia wattle

Notes:

This larva was intent on feeding on something amidst this cluster of dried up wattle flower heads.
