Blackfin Chromis

Chromis atripectoralis

Description:

Also known as Black-axil Chromis, Black-axil Puller, Black-axil Damsel, Blue-green Puller, Blue-green Damselfish and Blue-Green Chromis. They feed on zooplankton, and grow to a length of about 10cm.

Habitat:

Found in loose groups on seaward reef slopes, lagoons and passages. Can occur in large schools feeding above staghorn coral. Found at depths of 1 to 20m. Widespread in the Indo-Pacific region.
