Great Blue Skimmer dragonfly (immature male)

Description:

I spotted this Great Blue Skimmer dragonfly in a meadow located at least 100 yards from the wetlands. This individual is an immature male, based upon the appearance of the terminal appendages at the end of its abdomen.

Habitat:

Looks like a teneral female. One wing looks to be malformed during emergence. A dragonfly can fly with only 3 wings intact. Good luck little dragonfly.
