Palawan crow

Corvus enca pusillus

Description:

Almost a silhouette of the slender-billed crow of Palawan perching on a concrete wall.

Habitat:

The crows frequent stands of mango (Mangifera indica) and canary wood (Nauclea orientalis).

Notes:

Although commonly heard noisily communicating with each other, the crow is very wary of me approaching to take a picture of them. There is rarely a good opportunity to take a picture of this bird.
