Aphonopelma spp.
Nice spotting! According to several university sources and the American Tarantula Society, there are 14 known species in Texas that are in the Aphonopelma genus. Narrowing it down from images is going to be tough, so that's why I simply suggested the genus. There may be a tarantula expert out there on PN that can tell more.
