Zebra Jumping Spider

Salticus zebraneus

Description:

Salticus species are typically marked with a black and white pattern, with some featuring transverse stripes, often gaining them the popular name "zebra spiders". Mature males have very long chelicerae on which they rest their long, thin pedipalps. Females are from 3.5 to 7 mm long, males up to 5 mm.

I agred with your idea,she thougth she was in a plant,the green tissus colour is very similar to the plants arround,i say it's a jumping spider because i saw her jumping several times,i put my finger near her several times and she jump :) in the photo 4 and 5 she jump to the other side of the tissus "canyon :) not bad for a little guy like this :)

I wonder if it thinks it is on a plant. I'm not sure it is a jumping spider Antonio. If I magnify it just hasn;t got the body or legs to jump very far. What do you think?
