Large Kingfisher (about 30cm) with a bright blue back, tail and wings, redbrown head, shoulders, flank and lower belly, white chest/throat, large red bill and red legs.
Near a little lunch restaurant next to the main road near Dambulla, Sri Lanka. 3.20pm
There were some flooded fields and it was fishing its little heart out.
