Wild Burro

Equus asinus

Notes:

Although locally known as 'wild burros', they're technically feral donkeys. In Nevada, these are protected under the Wild and Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act of 1971. These burros, in particular, have discovered that cars are mobile food sources, and they are often found blocking the road and nosing into car windows looking for handouts.
