Orthosiphon aristatus

Description:

Orthosiphon aristatus is from the family of Lamiaceae. The plant is a medicinal herb found mainly throughout Southeast Asia and tropical Australia. It is known as kumis kucing in Indonesia and misai kucing in Malaysia. In the US it may be commonly known as Cat's Whiskers or Java tea.

Habitat:

Growing as an ornamental in a large semi-urban yard & garden in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.
