Yup, definitely an Arachne. The orange body bands and blue-gray eyes are identifying marks.

This is a bit of a shot in the dark as I am not at all familiar with this genus, but it looks a lot like Arachne Checkerspot - Poladryas arachne.http://bugguide.net/node/view/25003
