Photo take at home this very light color buterfly just arrive on top of a tree. I have never seen this one before. about 9 cm wingspan light color for maybe a moth?????

Hi Gerardo! What a beautiful moth you have here. After looking very closely multiple times, I think this cannot be determined further than Epimecis sp., as quite a few species in the genus have not even been recognized as full species an are under further review.

If I had to say any species, I would say E. detexta:

The bottom hindwings look like they have indents on both the bottom right hand corner and the bottom left hand corner. Was the wing damaged in this area, or was this part of the wing shape?
