White-tailed Deer (buck)

Odocoileus virginianus

Description:

This buck started to come eating in my yard when he very young and still had velvet on his antlers. He got very used to me taking photos of him through windows, or even while I was outside (from a distance), that he did not mind coming very close to the house even when I was taking photos of him. The same back is featured in spotting http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/114... still having velvet on his antlers.

Habitat:

Spotted eating my roses in the garden!

Wow, stefania, absolutely stunning photograph! Brilliantly clear and an exceptional catch of the deer's tongue! Well done!
