Common Grackle (Immature)

Quiscalus quiscula

Description:

This bird puzzled me. It acts, sounds, and besides the difference in color, looks just like every other Grackle around my neighborhood, but its plumage is brown, not black. After checking into it, I found that it is in fact just immature, and therefore has not acquired the glossy black plumage as yet.
