Northern Water Snake

Nerodia sipedon sipedon

Notes:

im pretty sure that its a water snake from what ive compared it to on the pa snakes site. he came up to where we were fishing and ate some dead minnows in the water. i know it wasnt a copperhead because the head wasnt shaped right and ive never seen copperheads in the water, or in that area at all. i fish there often and see all kinds of snakes.

Hi Tika. Can you try uploading the first photo again? It doesn't seem to have worked the first time. I can see the 2nd photo though.
