Description:

The Indian Pitta is a beautiful bird that has a buff colored crown stripe, black coronal stripes, a thick black eye stripe and white throat and neck. The bird’s upper parts are green, with a blue tail, the underparts buff, with bright red on the lower belly and vent.

@Joshua, about 433 bird species have been recorded in the country.
in my area, i have recorded about 100 species so far.
