jpratt001, I did count it and I found 3 needles/bundle. This is a Pinus Canariensis!!

it can help identifying pines by the size and number of needles per bundle. next time you go by, try holding onto one needle and follow it down to the base where the branch is. at the base, the needles are clumped together in a 'bundle'. i know that the pinus canariensis has 3 needles per bundle and are usually 8-12 inches long.

ive seen canary island pines that look like this and they have long needles. do you happen to know how many needles per bundle it is?
