Description:

White flower about 1 inch in diameter. Grouped on top of stalk. Shrub-like, dark green leaves.

Habitat:

Shrubby area about 30 meters uphill from a pond (Turtle Pond in Central Park)

Notes:

Dogwood flower? Definitely not a planting. Surrounded by other wild shrubs/weeds like wood sorrel.

Might be dogwood shrub, Cornus sp., but don't know for certain.
