Description:

Sophia spotted these Italian vairone in the Serravezza river from above the bridge at Riomagno. These pictures were taken at the drop pool of the lower cascade just above the public spring.

Habitat:

Lower reaches of the Serrevezza. Freshwater river characterized by calcium rich soils heavy impacted by marble extraction and dense urban development.
