Common Grackle

Description:

Grackle singing away, at Waubay National Wildlife Refuge, SD. I know, not a special species to see, but I'm just starting out in my birding and are chronicling any I can actually catch on camera decently.

Habitat:

Perched in bushes next to a wetland and near larger lakes, in the prairie pothole region of northeast South Dakota.
