Little beetle approx. 2cm tall. Frequent up in the mountains.
Thanks Martin, I made sure I came back from Tassie with at least 1 beetle spotting :)
Paropsisterna bimaculata, same as last. This is endemic. The closest species in victoria is P. agricola. The ID is made on the two black spots on the pronotum.It is very variable
