Description:

There are 10 species in the United States. Females are robust, with short, curled antennae and heavy hind femora ("thighs"). Males are very slender with long, straight antennae and a prominent curved "pseudostinger" at the tip of the abdomen. (information from BugGuide)

Feeding among flowers that line a small urban pond
