Green Midge

Description:

I found this green midge in my bathroom. This one is a male midge because it have a feather-like proboscis. The size of this midge is about 3 - 4 mm long.

Habitat:

- Around the house and garden.

Notes:

- Midge is an insect from the family Chironomidae, and it do not suck blood. It survive by feeding on flower nectar and sweet juices. I hope someone can ID this midge for me. - http://www.biology-online.org/biology-fo...
