Rufous-Tailed Jacamar

Galbula ruficauda

Description:

That's a special/different male Rufous-Tailed Jacamar. A remarkable characteristic of this species is the breastplate of rusty color, however, this specimen has a white breastplate. I really don't know the reason of this.

Habitat:

I found this psecimen on a waterfall, in a region of transition between the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest.
