Warm to hot region, a small stream joining large river Teesta, surrounding areas of thick saal forests. There are also lots of bush by the sides of the stream.
This beautiful butterfly came and perched on our SUV rear mirror, while we had stopped by the roadside eatery for lunch on the way to Darjeeling. The day was overcast and quite chill.
