Housefly Maggot

Description:

This is an early maggot (1st larval stage) of the common housefly that i found in stale milk. The size of this maggot is approximately 3 - 4 mm long.

Habitat:

- Dirty place, rotten meat, etc.

Notes:

- This maggot is in 1st larva stage. During a warm summer -- optimal conditions for a housefly -- the cycle, from fertilized egg to adult, spans a mere seven to 10 days.
