Springtail

Description:

Tiny, iridescent insect less than 2 mm long with long antennae. There is a dark stripe down the center and a horizontal band across the abdomen. The last image shows a nymph that is purple.

Habitat:

Under rock in damp area with short-tailed whipscorpions, woodlouse, slugs and fire ants.

You did have a great time under that rock! :)

Thank you both! They are tiny! I believe they were about 1 mm long. Ants were carrying them off and looked large in comparison.
I had my face quite close to the ground looking at a different organism and saw tiny insects moving around. Happy to get this amount of detail :)
