Description:

Grey above, streaky cinnamon in front. Glossy black crown...the males have long "hair-extensions" that look comical when fluffed up if the bird is startled or agitated. Brown tail with white at the base. There is a blue dot at the end of the beak where it connects to the body.

Habitat:

This one was spotted just outside the ancient Sun Temple at Modhera. It was sitting on a tree.
