Gypsy moth

Lymantria dispar

Description:

Cattapilar of the gypsy moth. Really cool loooking greyish brown in color, with blue frontal, and rear red basis for hair tufts. This particular one was crawling over rocks, found couplpe of others in foilage near by.

Habitat:

Characteristic mediterranean shrubbery, very close to the sea.
