Overall colouration, green or brown with few markings except for occasional small black dots or dashes. Young specimens may be heavily spotted. Upper lip, bright green. Underside, light with some gray or brown markings. Adult males generally have bright yellow throats. Males also possess tympanums, circular eardrums, behind large eyes.
