Limenitis arthemis astyanax

Description:

There are two variations of Limenitis arthemis: the red spotted purple and the white admiral. The former is tinged with blue while the latter is mostly darker with a vertical white stripe running down each hindwing.

Habitat:

They prefer moist areas, feeding mostly on birches and willows.
