It's either a pumpkinseed or a bluegill. I'm not good with fish, so help is always welcomed.

Thanks for the suggestion, Amy! But, I narrowed it down to pumpkinseed and blue gill since those are the only species of sunfish in the Pond in Central Park.
It looks like a green sunfish to me!
