Thank you. The beetle was not completely smooth you could see slight grooves. I think it were general dung beetle. :D

Perhaps that's a 'spring dung beetle'? (Frühlingsmistkäfer) http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fr%C3%BChli... There is no English article on it for some reason.
It could also be the general dung beetle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geotrupes_s...). Did it have deep grooves along its back or was it completely smooth?
