Snowy Owl

Notes:

Today I saw at least 3 different Snowy Owls. If they aren't flying around, they like to land on top of things, like this pine tree. Others were on roofs of buildings, light poles and mounds on the ground.

Alice, this year it isn't hard to find Snowy Owls in the Northeast. Just getting one in close enough to get a nice picture is the hard part, and takes a bit of luck. Here's the bird reports from your area, and I see there are some sightings of Snowies. Good luck with them!

Thanks Antonio. This owl had to catch his balance a couple of times when the wind was blowing.
