Description:

Roughly 8 millimeters in body length, colored as shown. Hooked tips on the antennae indicate gender.

Habitat:

Found gleaning aphid honeydew off of aspen leaves. Native habitat around the zoo is mixed coniferous forest with some aspen, cottonwood, alder, Gambel's oak, chokecherry.
