Description:

The cola tit is a small bird (10-11 cm, smaller than a sparrow). It has a characteristic black head with a white nape spot, besides the white sides of the face. It also presents white tips on the wing coverts. The bill is black, the legs lead-coloured, and irides dark brown. It is typically a bird of temperate humid conifer forest

Habitat:

On a pine-tree forest at 1500 meters high in Madrid mountains: Sierra de Guadarrama at the old roman way up to Puerto de la Fuenfría.
