Nice spotting, ricepie!
The Galapagos Vermilion Flycatcher is generally considered a separate subspecies Pyrocephals rubinus nanus (becaus it's smaller than the continental cousins). Populations of this beautiful bird have been badly reduced on inhabited islands, probably because of predation by invasive species. Where exactly did you take the picture? On Isabela? - You may wish to consider placing your Galapagos pics into the Galapagos Biodiversity Mission which we recently set up: http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/1478... - and follow us at www.facebook.com/darwinfoundation.

Nice! I have removed it from the wildlife rescue and rehabilitation mission as this is for wild animals that were injured and either healed and released again or kept in a sanctuary if they could not be released.
