Bee eater

Merops pusillus

This Bee eater sitting on the road, did not fly even after my car passed over it. I stopped the car to check, its wing was damaged. I took it and left it in the jungle after sometime, when it started to fly again.

Western Ghats of Karnataka in India.

Great story - well done ! It is a beautiful bird too - you must have been thrilled to see it fly away. Looking forward to seeing more spottings from Karnataka....
