Sympetrum corruptum
A medium-sized dragonfly with a slender abdomen. The abdomen is usually bright red, pink, and golden brown. Females are not a bright as males. This ones abdomen is golden brown.
A pleasant surprise on this cold day to have one land in the trail at Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center.
