Blue and Yellow Macaw, mating pair spotted in the Pacaya Samiria Preserve in the Upper Amazon in Peru. Unlike what we see in pet stores and zoos in the US, these guys are very shy, and the only way we could get 'close' for a photo was use of a 400 mm lens with a teleconverter.
